My Favorite Chanel Beauty Products Review
I have alway been a fan of Chanel beauty products. Their packaging is just so fab and super chic. Like who doesn't want a nice blush to come in a sophisticated black and white box? Every time I'm looking for my blush in my (dark) bag, I can easily find it trough the white logo on top of the box. So I guess you can also say the exterior of the packaging is also super practical! ;)
Let's start with the best make-up product Chanel has ever produced; the "Soleil Tan De Chanel". This is a bronzing make-up base that is used after applying your foundation. It's a cream bronzer so it works really well for contouring your face. I use it just below my cheekbones and on the side of my forehead. In summer I can't really use it to contour my face because I'm more tanned so I then use it more as a foundation. Just a little tiny bit to get my skin more even.
The second best product Chanel has made has to be the Le Volume mascara. I started to use this mascara maybe a year ago and initially I wasn't amazed and did not understand all the fuss about it.. UNTILL I went back to the old mascara I was using before, by YSL. I started missing Le Volume more and more each day! After using the YSL mascara for only 2 weeks, I was so fed up that I went back to buy the Chanel again. With this mascara you only need like two coats for your lashes to literally hit your eyebrows. This is really every girls MUST BUY.
I really can't tell you a lot about the Chanel Lipbalm other then I'm such a sucker for beautiful packaging. I just love the combination of gold and black!! When they had a discount of 40% on all lip products, I just HAD to buy this.
I recently bought this Chanel blush because they stopped making the cream blushes I religiously used for years. :( There just isn't anything more annoying in life then when the brand of your favorite product just stops producing something you love so much. Anyway I've been using this dry-ass blush for a while now but I must say I love it. It's just a beautiful color but I do think I will look to other brands now to find a good cream bronzer again.
My final buy of Chanel beauty products, is actually a skincare product. It's the Le Lift Creme-Huile Reparatrice. I wanted to try Le Lift for a while ever since Huda from Huda Beauty has been so enthusiastic about it. She was raving about how it really helped her skin get better and how her pores also got less visible.
I'm not really a fan of a pot of cream, I really prefer a pump bottle so I was pleased to see that Chanel recently added this to the Le Lift collection, so I had to buy it. I have only been using this for a week now but so far I really like it! It has just the right thickness, the texture is not too creamy and not too watery, like a lotion. I feel like it really moisturizes my skin in a good way. I haven't seen my pores shrink or minimize in any way though.. maybe I have to keep using it for a longer period for that to happen.. I will let you know about my finds on this product later on!
