How I Paid For my Luxury Bag
I have a thing for luxury bags, I really feel like they upgrade any outfit. Of course when you wear an outfit with only high quality items from the more luxurious brands, the outfit as a whole will look super put together. But when you combine your luxury bag with a basic H&M jeans and shirt, it can also be very chic and can make your whole outfit look more high end.
As much as I love luxury handbags, I have to stay realistic. I don't have all the money the world (unfortunately) and I'm not dating any high profiel soccer players so I can't buy a new handbag every week. That's why I try to save up and buy one luxury handbag every year. Sometimes I try to score a second handbag but that's only possible when there is a sale somewhere.
Over the years I have bought a few bags and that has learned me to be more selective on what I buy. I have recently decided to go more for timeless pieces that don't go out of fashion so quickly.
How do I pay for my luxury bag? The answer to that question is that I give myself a year to save up for a luxury bag that I really, really, really want and have been dreaming about. I also always sell and old luxury item that I haven't really been wearing much or has gone out of style (in my opnion). This way It doesn't really feel like I'm spending the total retail price of the item (even though I do)
For this bag I decided to sell some old Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels that have always been to high for me anyway. Every time I'd go out I didn't want to wear them because they were so uncomfortable and I always preferred other heels. I decided to sell them so that someone else could love them and give them the TLC they deserve!
